Lindsey Macchiarella regularly performs on recorders and viola da gamba. She is co-founder of the early music performing groups, Sprezzatura, and the Society of Forgotten Instruments. She is also the founder and director of the UTEP Early Music Ensemble and the UTEP Collegium Musicum. She has performed as principal recorder player with the El Paso Symphony Orchestra.
